I have an mp3 song which I want to edit the sound of the vocals on. I can do this and achieve the correct tone using Goldwave by slowing the song to 84%, but I cannot figure out how to adjust the tone of the vocals on their own whilst keeping the music in its original state.
Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so what program will do it![]()
Thanks!

Since your source is a mixed MP3, you're pretty much out of luck.
If you were working from multitracks, where you actually had access to the vocal track (ie vocal feed), then you could do the necessary work on just the vocal track.
