Photoshop Request: Logo or Wallpaper

Hey yall, I've run into a road block I guess. Figured I'd come here to the experts for advice/help. I need to have some kind of advertisement for my band in two weeks for a gig we're doing. If yall could help, I'd appreciate it.

What kind of Logo are you looking for just text in front of musical equipment or flames and chains?

Get the bunch of you around a table drinking beer with the sun coming up and a clock on the wall set at 5:38 Not sure how would convey that it's morning, maybe a kid delivering papers also seen through the window.

Use a picture of a clock with 5:38 on it on a night stand with all kinds of beer bottles strewn about....

Hey it's metal.... gotta have beer somewhere. :P

I was in a band a few years ago that got a lot of attention. We called ourselves "Free Beer"
MAN, it was funny to see all these people come out to a bar and realize that it was a band and not a promotion. But they ended up staying anyway and generally had a good time ... I like to think so anyway.

Anywho ... our "logo" was a beeg mug with a frosty beverage inside (I'll let you guess which one) with our 5 "cartoon" faces (that we got done at a local fair) around the mug. It was pretty funny, all things considered.

I find the best band logo's in my area are the ones that are different. No flames and stuff like that. Too generic. The idea about the sun coming up with 538 on the clock is brilliant. Most people wont even make the connection, which is what makes it so brilliant. "Duh, I dont get it. 538 .. the sun. huh?" Make 'em think.

I would go with that one. Or, gather up 538 people and take an aerial photo of some kind. Or show them "breaking into" a building where you guys are on top of. I know its a lot to make out in a picture .. but imagination is key

I like the idea of 5:38 on the clock... Along those same lines how about some random subtle "rock" scenes with 538 somehow placed.

i.e. At concert, stage in distance - close is a really nice denim ars with 538 on the belt patch.

Does your band even have a logo? I made a pretty generic looking one for you if you like it. Let me know if this is good, or if you want different colors or whatever. I've got an idea for a poster for it.

2. I love all of the ideas.
3. I do believe a "flame" approach is kinda overused, but something like adams is awesome. it's something i would put in our studio behind my drums. i still have no creativity as for an "offical" logo band logo.. im not saying adams isnt worthy, its just i've only seen what the work of one person can do. im not too skilled with a camera or photoshop.
4. i'll talk to the guys about all of your suggestions, i wrote them all down
5. If yall have any extra time and could make something up like adam did? you would have no idea how appreciative I would be. I feel so in the dark right now.

That was a screen grab from Pink Floyd's The Wall movie and I just added the clock. Unfortunately, that was as big a screen grab as I could make. I'm at work right now, but when I get home, I'll see what I can do.

I'd really appreciate more suggestions/ideas/submissions if yall wouldn't mind spending some of your valuable time on our bands little logo/wallpaper.
