    My Sony videocamera captures movies using Sony Digital Video Codec. As my Tvix player does not play this format I want to convert them to XVID.

    I am Looking for a guide and tool to do this ?

    I've no idea about your particular codec but...
    AVIcodec says that the video codec is supported (on your PC)
    Have you tried opening the video file ("band3.avi" from your pic) in VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod ?
    If it works, follow this guide to convert to XviD :
