When I use ATI AIW Radeon's GuidePlus+ scheduler, my captures are jagged on ATI file player and unplayable on Windows Media Player. Setting the Virtual VCR to Mpeg or Mpeg2 makes no difference. Yet, if I just record "on the fly", my captures are ok. This all started when I upgraded to XP....
I've installed MMC 7.2 and DVD 5.0 (ATI's recommended XP upgrade driver software)
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Go back to the Win2k drivers. I did and all my problems went away. The XP drivers were just slapped together because everyone was all over there asses for not having them out when XP launched because they had just finalized the Win2k drivers for the last time. The next release will probably fix the problem.
