  1. I keep getting an 'Out of Memory' error when using DVD Shrink with Freedomland, any reason why? I've use Shrink on Syriana with no memory issues.

    Thanks

Doesn't Freedomland have both Widescreen and Fullscreen versions on the same disc? You'd be better off with VobBlanker.

Yes, it has both WS & FS, but when I'm in Shrink I do a reauthor, click on compression settings and drag over either WS or FS (just the title) to be backed -up, isn't that just as good as using VOBBlanker?

  6. I would:
    1.Uninstall DVDShrink(do not reboot).
2.In Explorer find C:\All Users\Application Data\DVD Shrink and delete the folder.
    3.Reboot and install DVDShrink.

    bluemoss,

The "Out of Memory" error in DvdShrink is almost certainly being caused by feeding it a bad rip. It's even more likely considering Freedomland is a copy-protection-garbage-festival disk. If you'll re-rip the original using RipIt4Me, your DvdShrink problem should go away.

It would also be a good idea to follow MOVIEGEEK's suggestion before re-ripping. That way, when RipIt4Me opens DvdShrink with the new rip, it will do a fresh scan, and not rely on a previous one.

Reauthor only the movie. No menus or extras. To be on the safe side, remove the other audio tracks as well. I've run across the "Out of Memory" error before and this resolved the problem.
Btw, I had used dvd fab decrypter to rip.
