ok, I managed to author my dvd with a first play clip, now I'd like to know how to I can remove it from the dvd.

I have copied the dvd to the hard drive and opened it with pgcedit but its way over my head, how can i remove the first plays i have made in this dvd?

  2. Remove it as in get rid of it entirely? Open the DVD in VobBlanker, mark it as "Blank", and then "Process".

Remove it as in bypass it when playing the DVD? Open the DVD in PGCEdit. Set it up to "Trace". Trace past the first-play to whatever comes next (the menu?). Right-click on that (Menu?) and "Toggle PGC Pre/Post Breakpoint". When you do that, you'll notice it turns red. Start the Trace again until you get back to the place you want to have play first (Menu?). Then up at the top go PGC->Jump To PGC Upon DVD Insert. When you Trace it now, you should see it go right to the place you want (Menu?). Save and test the DVD.

Here's the guide (nothing you couldn't have easily found yourself):
