    My VCD's volume is too small and I want to edit the sound without loss of video quality.

    Can you inform how to do?

    Remarks: I have transfered the VCD dat file to Mpg file by VCDgear and divide it into mpg video and mpg audio file by TmpgEnc.

    All I want to do is edit the mpg audio to increase the volume and then merge the mpg video with edited mpg audio file to make a new mpg file.

    Use any audio edit program
    I prefer Soundforge, some others prefer cool edit...
    With soundforge and the right plug-in, you can do it direct to mp2 or mp3 format
