  1. I recently bought a new computer, and discovered that my VOB files that had a great quality, before, became worse. Before i changed my comp. they were much better quality, it includes some files, that i burned to a cd(CD-R Discs), i noticed a little blurryence and interlacing, and i know that Power DVD has a deinterlacing option, and i selected it, but it still has a bit interlace, and I am sure i haven't seen it before. this files were ok before, how can i change it? some files originally were recorded through a settelite directly on to a home dvd recorder, and i know that they can't be perfect, but they were still very good, I'm sure better than what it is now, If anyone tell me, how to make screenshots with power dvd, i'll show what i mean.

It's probably not the files, but the player. Try using something else, or at least change the de-interlace settings in Power DVD.

Before you go fiddling about with program setting's , visit your video graphics chip manufacturer and make sure you have the latest driver's installed .

    Then see what happen's .

There are also noticable difference's between chipset's ... nvidia (smoothing) , ati (glassy) , matrox (inbetween) , s3 chrome (crap) , intel (crap) ... esspecially when it come's down to revised model's and chipset's version's ... you may find better quality by using a previous driver version rather than the latest as well .

One rule : If latest driver version provide's no improvement's , only get rid of it if it cause's problem's .
