i have this question about the position of the subtitles in a dvd i havent done all the process that is needed but i came up with this question, when i add the subtitles to the dvd, they will be there allways,i mean if with my laptop i place them in the black bars and if i use the dvd in my dvdplayer it uses i dont know what that the black bars dont appear if its a 1.85:1 or if its a 2.xxand its not the pan and scan thing that it cuts the movie so that it can be seen in full screen,if that thing do my dvd player then there wont be any subtitles? or the subtitles position itself up on the movie?
i am a newbie at this but i have some experience on backing up dvds

If the player or tv zoom/cuts you wont see the subs if they are in the bottom black area, you can't move them...or well some few players can move subs.
