So here is the thing...i download a subtitle for a video...i play it on my pc and it shows perfectly..i burn it and if i play it on the tv, they wont show, but if i play it on the computer (after i have burned the disk) it shows.
I noticed that when i watch the dvd on my tv, the only lines that shows are the ones that are double lines, and it shows only the upper one....so im guessin that the problem is that the subtitles are too low on the screen for the tv to show them, right?
I tried with subtitle workshop and subtitle creator and couldnt find a way to do this. On subtitle creator it just lets me change de subtitle positions if if convert them to .sup files...but this doesnt work for me, since CONVERTXTODVD wont recognize .sup files.
What i need is some program that let me change the .srt subtitles position on screen, since subtitle creator wont do it...i change it, click on save as...but the possition still the same....
Plz someone who can help me...

You can change the subtitle position in ConvertXtoDVD, under settings->subtitles and Text subtitles rendering settings change the Margin vertical value.
-
And if you've already made a DVD with them too low, then DVDSubEdit can easily raise them.
-
how can i do that? cuz i have the same problem with a dvd taht i allready burned..a multi episodic dvd

Read the dvdsubedit manual/help, http://download.videohelp.com/DVDSubEdit/UserManual/helpfile.htm

Maybe if you went looking for the guide, or read the tutorial included with DVDSubEdit, you wouldn'y have to ask that question:
2.7 Modifying the subtitle vertical positions by hand
Use the slider or the entry box to move the subpicture by the desired number of pixels. -
I tried with convertxtodvd and it didnt work...i load the subtitles to each video files, then go to settings, change the subtitle margin...convert the files..burn them on the disk..and the subtitles still dont show..i tried even putting them waaaaaaaaay up in the screen and still they dont show...and when play the disc on my computer..they are in the same place as they originally were.....anyone help?

There are many other ways. Encode manually and add in the subs during authoring. I use MaestroSBT to make SST subs. You set the position (height) in there, and it has a preview so you can see how they'll look before authoring. But as I said, that's just one of many ways.
I don't use ConvertXToDVD, so I don't know what your problem is with that one. -
Maybe it's a bug in convertxtodvd? Are you using latest version? I would try contact convertxtodvd.
Or use another all-in-one converter with subtitle support like FAVC or DVD Flick. -
its weird... i tried with a normal dvd..a movie..and it works...the problem seems to be with multi episodes dvd...
