    hello

in, dvd decrypter, is there an option to prevent it from ejecting after burning?

because, burning with dvd decrypter, when I chose to verify, it ejects after burning, so it cant verify until I load the disc again

    thanks

Click on Settings on the Tools Pull-down menu. Click on the Device tab and make sure each box is unchecked on "Eject Tray After..."

Sometimes when things "stick" like this, it helps to uninstall and reinstall the software. It's worth a try.

Assuming you're using WinXP, right click on "My Computer", click Properties, and in the window that pops up select the "Recording" tab. At the bottom is a checkbox for "Automatically eject the CD after writing". Is it unchecked?

It can't verify unless it cycles the tray, that part is unchangable.

The tray is cycled because it is the generic (hardware) way to force a drive reset and flush of the buffers/caches, which is necessary to ensure accuracy of the verify. While all drives will perform those tasks correctly if initiated by cycling the tray, those same tasks can also be initiated without cycling the tray IF the drive and driver support it. Some drive/driver pairs may not support any part, some may only partially support the sequence of calls required. If the drive/driver fully support all the tasks, cycling the tray is unnecessary.

My guess is that's why DvdDecrypter, ImgBurn and Windows have an option to disable the tray cycling.

  8. Was the 'Cycle Tray Before Verify' option in the 'Write' tab of the settings not available in DVD Decrypter? It sure is in ImgBurn.

Yes, it's available. In DvdDecrypter, the 'Cycle Tray Before Verify' checkbox is in Tools - Settings on the "ISO Write Mode" tab.
