I am trying to author a dvd in this software.
I have a few different titles now i want to have a button for each title so it plays it and then back to the menu. That is easy enough.
But i also want a "play all" button so that on pressing that it will play all the titles one after the other.

One word: "PLAYLISTS"
Do a search for past threads on this very subject with this very software.
Hint: it's one of mine (though I'm not the OP).

Yea i have tried the playlists thing and it doesn't work.
I have made a playlist for each episode and linked the individual buttons to those playlists and have the end action as back to menu
I have the play all button as linking to the fisrt episode and the end action as the next episode (missing out the credits)
Now when i compile and try it out, pressing play all does go thoguh each episode, but does so still playing the credits
Selecting an individual episode does what i want the play all button to do! -
You're not doing it right.
Since I sent you to search for an old thread, which doesn't seem to be accessible any more, I'll give it to you in a nutshell (should be easier since you do know about playlists)...
Playlists in Maestro only work within a title ("MOVIE"), so you must put ALL of your clips into the same movie timeline, using Chapter markers to designate the border between clips.
Do This:
1. Make Ch1 end action = menu, Ch2 end action = menu, etc
2. Make Playlist of "Play ALL" with Ch1, Ch2, Ch3, etc included.
or This:
1. Make "Play ALL" just all chapters in sequence
2. Make Playlists of "Only Ch1", "Only Ch2", etc.

Right think i have it as i want it now.
Strange thing though, once it is on DVD my episode 2 pauses every half minute or so and the dvd sounds like it is searching really hard for a minute or so, then it starts up where it left off again.
Keeps doing this, the other 2 eps are fine.
The dvd is scratch free!
