Hi,
I converted "Urban Legends 2" to SVCD with using:
Smartripper, DVD2AVI, TMPGenc.
I created a SVCD with NERO-SVCD Standard.
(25Pics/s; 480x576; and the right Audio).
On my PC the Film works perfect, but on my
Standalone DVD-Player it shakes the screen from left to right and back. And on the left side I miss about 20cm (sorry I don`t know in English)(about 1/4 from the screen)!
So what is wrong?
Thanks for your help!

usually "shaking" has to do with the field order... you could try switching it... but being that it played fine in the pc id say that it is somethin to do with the standalone player... have you tried other svcds at similiar bitrates to know for sure if it can play them ok?

Thank you first!
I tryed some SVCDs. but I´m not sure if they are at the same bitrate. I followed the instruction from a magazine called "Chip", but they only say: "Field order: Standard"
But I´m not sure if I don`t changed the field order?!
Is it possible that this is the prob? I don`t want to try converting again, because it works 20hours for the first CD!
(PIII 650)
Thanks! -
tried just a source range of an action scene... usually the field order problem will be the worst in action scenes... then use that file to test.
