I'm trying to use Tsunami MPEG DVD Author Pro which is now known as TMPG DVD Author 2. I like this program because of the menus are easy to make and it's just a basic menu. I'm trying to use DVD-Lab Pro to add switchable subtitles. But I can't seem to make the same basic menu I can when using Tsunami. On Tsunami I have it to where I have the main menu and the track menus. Each track menu only has 1 video and a different back ground. But on Tsunami I can use the background at only 91% of the original size of the photo so it shows the whole thing on the part that shows where it would be on the tv. On DVDlab it automatically stretches the picture out which I don't want. Is there anyway I can add the create the menu using Tsunami and then add the subtitles using DVD-Lab Pro later on or something like that. I really need help.
So far I have
1. One MPG 2(SVCD/DVD) NTSC converted from Xvid Source using TMPGenc Xpress 3.0
2. One MP2 Audio & One M2V Video Demuxed from MPG 2(SVCD/DVD) using TMGPenc Plus's MPEG TOOLS feature.
3. One SRT Subtitle file.
I also am gonna have the files after using Tsunami-MPEG DVD Author to Author the DVD but it won't have the Subtitles.
I really want to add the Subtitles because the movie isn't in English and the Subtitles are. Can someone please help me. I would use DVD-Lab Pro so I can add the subtitles but I can't create the same menu that I have creating using Tsunami-MPEG DVD Author. Unless someone can show me how to add a simple menu using just has the Main Menu and a track menu which is broken up into 11 Menus. Each having just Track Title, Page Number, Go to the top menu button (Return Botton), Play track button (Play), Jump to the 1st Page Button, Go to the previous page button, Next Page Button, Last Page Button, 1 Thumbnail of Champter, Name of Champter, and Background like in Tsunami. On the Background in Tsunami I have it 91% so it only covers the part that will be shown on the tv and isnt cut out like it normally would be at 100%. If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it. I've tried posting as much detail as possible.
Edit: I followed this guide https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=219535&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 starting with Step 2 and using the M2P and M2V files that I got after demuxing using TMPGenc Plus but before using Tsunami MPEG DVD Author instead of demuxing from the after using Tsunami MPEG DVD Author and it worked. So far. Just have to burn to DVD+R and test that.[/url]
