Hello,
I have to make a DVD with 2 audio tracks and soft subtitles from two AVI's.
I have followed the procedure found on this post:
https://forum.videohelp.com/topic352732.html
and it works very well, but how can I include the subtitles?
(I have now the .mpg file with the 2 audio tracks, but I kept the original files in case i have to start over ( AVI1, AVI2, AVI1audiofile, AVI2audiofile, AVI.muxed.m2v and AVI.muxed.mpg)
Results 1 to 7 of 7

- check if the result is what you intended (video + audio + audio + subs)

MPEG-2 files for DVD with 23.976 fps framerate should have a 3:2 pulldown. Without it, the playback may appear to stutter.
While it is most convenient to add this pulldown during conversion, it is also possible to add it to the .m2v file after conversion. You would need to mux and author again, though. But those are fast operations compared to the transcoding.
Use the Pull tool on the .m2v, the Mux tool to combine the video and audio streams (without authoring) and the Author tool to add the subs.
