Hi Guys,
I'm sure this question is asked before but with the search i couldn't find a clear answer. I'm looking for a video editing program that supports wmv, divx, xvid etc. I use virtualdub but that doennt' seem to support wmv. I've downloaded mpeg-2 support mod for virtualdub but when i try to open a wmv file i'll get a error that it can not find the appropriate wmv3 or wmv2 codec. I also had a look at avisync but that means i have to code, and i want to put a watermark in my videos.
Hope you guys can help me out really appreciate the support.

You can try Total Video Converter
http://www.vadino.com/Free+Download+Total+Video+Converter
It's a 15-day trial version, but it's pretty compact and easy to use, even for a newb like me. -
I had the same problem with Virtualdub MPEG2. Download the following and it should work: http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/8/a/98a6cb2d-6659-485e-b1f9-2c0d9bf6c328/wmv9VCMsetup.exe
