    hi, i got a probelm with boradband plus (ntl) it says it can not find D:\Documents and Settings\austin\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\OGD02JG6\MTVvideo[1].asx, now what i want to know is, is it part of realplayer? or has anyone else had this problem?

    .asx files are pointers for Microsoft-format streaming video.

    Have you cleared your Internet Explorer cache recently?
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

    well, its a friend of the family, i dont really know, i took a look. i tried to find the folder but i couldnt, but i do know that he did a restore.

    Nothing should be referencing that file, as nothing should reference the cache directly. If something is, it may not be a good sign.

    You have to show hidden files to see this folder, that is why you could not find it.

    Does it happen only with that one particular video, or with all videos from the site?

    What happens if the IE cache is cleared?

    D:\Documents and Settings\austin\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\OGD02JG6\MTVvideo[1].asx
    Also, is 'austin' the computer's owner? Just want to make sure this isn't a case where the webpage itself is looking for something that only exists on the webpage creator's system, though that's rather rare and highly unlikely, in this case.
