Hello all I have tried numerous time to burn home HI8 movies using a dazzle dvc80 and the MM2 or Studio8 software. I have tried to close all open programs, buy better discs, buy an adapter that plugs the 2 audio jacks into a mic piece that bypasses the dazzle and goes directly into the computer. The preveiws all look fine with both video and audio but when I burn the disc the audio is distorted. Somewhere in the burning process I'm losing the audio. I need help as I been trying to fix this for 4 days and alot of coasters. Thanks John

Have you tried lowering the volume on the input slider on your sound card? Maybe the gain is too high.

Also try running it through an external stereo and then to your soundcard. Maybe it needs signal boosting before it hits your pc.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
