I have recorded on a number of Taiyo Yuden DVD-r discs...these discs play just fine on my own DVD players, including a panasonic and a Sony. I gave a couple of these discs to a friend of mine who has a GoVideo DV1030 player. When he tries to play the discs they show up as unrecognized and won't play. He also tried them on a second GoVideo DV1030 player that another friend has...with the same negative results. According to the GoVideo website and the manual, the player is supposed to play DVD-r discs. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be the problem? Thanks for your help.
