    Hi I'm trying to burn some Raggs Episodes to DVD but I get this error in DVD Shrink
    "dvd shrink encounted an error and can not continue failed to read file J\Topfield\video TS\VTS01 01 VOB invalid acess to memory" dvd rebuilder has problems too but cant remember what it says but does not encode all the way through

    win xp pro
    sp2
    amd 64 3000
    1gb
    demux with PVAStumento
    dvd Author 2 pro cut out adds

    when I play the files with Power dvd afer using dvd author it works fine just when I encode it
    can anyone help me out

    If I was to take a wild guess, you ripped it with an older ripper which did not remove all the structure protection. Try ripping again with the very latest version of DVD Fab Decrypter. Don't use the one you installed a while back, download a new copy and use that.

    In that case it sounds like DVD Author 2 Pro isn't creating compliant output - do you have a link to the software homepage ?

    If you had added tmpgenc before DVD Author it would all have made sense . . . . . . . .

    It still sounds like a compliance problem, if both Shrink and DVD RB are having problems.

    I have dvd author 1.6 and 2.0 installed could this be a problem?

    I tried encoding one episode of raggs 30 mins and encoded it with shrink with no problems

    Shrink doesn't encode. It transcodes compliant DVD structures to reduce the video bitrate and thereby the overall size.

    You could try using Rejig to transcode the video before authoring, so you don't have to use Shrink afterwards.
