I have a 2 hr Divx of combined episodes of a cartoon show. I am trying to split them into separate files using VirtualDubMod.
The audio was originally VBR mp3, so I converted it to CBR and re-muxed it with the video. Everything is in sync and good.
However, for the first time in my history of using the program, VirtualDubMod is refusing to adhere to my mark points. While the new cut episodes do adhere to the end marking given in VDM, it seems to be cutting the video 2 seconds prior to my starting mark...for each and every episode. So each new file starts with the production company credits of the last episode.
What might be causing this? Is it likely an issue of using VDM instead of regular VirtualDub? Or maybe just a setting I'm missing? Or perhaps there is a better program for tight cutting of Divx files?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

When in Direct Stream Copy mode any segment you keep must start on a keyframe.
