    i have followed the tutorial given at the top of this forum using those tools. i got sustitles of divx website however the subs do not match to what is being spoken how do i arrange ot so they match up. and how would i make sure this dosnt happen again. also is there a way to watch avi files witjout having to permanantly putting subs on them? thanks for any help.

    PLEASE wait a few days before you bump/reply to your topic.

    use vobsub / vsfilter and you can play avi with switchable subs, www.videohelp.com/play#subs . you can also change sync times directly in vobsub.

    or sync manually with for example subtitle workshop, open the avi and the sub.

    or just buy movies/TVseries with subs and you wont have any sub problems.
