    I was curious. There's no reason you can't have a 5 disc or 100 disc dvd recorder/changer.

Just think you could load it up with blanks and let it record.

Of course the only downside is you can't have continous recording disc to disc. The problem being the time to change the disc and to prep the next disc. Though it would be interesting.

Have dvd recorders with harddrives made a dvd recorder jukebox unneccessary?
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

Yep. HDD units have much more capability. IMO, worth every additional penny.

That's kind of what I was thinking. But still in principal there's no reason you can't make a dvd recorder jukebox.

Depends on what you want and what you're doing....

I doubt you could get 400 dvd's on any current dvd recorder's HDD.
I don't think they make any with that kind of capacity so i don't think dvd player jukeboxes are obsolete.

Man, that would be alot of recording unless you were making a ton of copies of the same video from a HDD other than that i doubt they will ever make one, but ya never know.....

    Evening everyone

yoda, I see your computer details for DVD Recorder: [n/a ] is blank.

I take it then that you don't have one of these units or you do have one,
but probably without a HDD ?? (there might be a recommendations or two)

Yeah, don't go time-warping back into the jukebox ERA
