The top of them is so dark, my blue and black pens become hard to read

I'm guessing a white cd-r pen, are they available?

    Almost...it's called silver...

    KIDDING.

If a white pen does exist it will most likely be a Sharpie...but I've never seen one. My wife is an avid Sharpie collector...we don't have a white one.

The silve and gold pens do a great job of eating right through the coated surface of most discs. However, I'm not familiar with the specific discs in question.

Never tried it on a DVD, but I've used white out pens forever to label wires and DVD cases and anything else that is basically dark.
