  1. The green volume bar indicator doesn't display on my monitor when I adjust the volume anymore. How do I fix this? I recently installed trial versions of AnyDVD, CloneDVD2 and DVDFab Platinum if this helps. I'm running winXP MCE.

is this a monitor with built in speakers or do you have a special keyboard with volume control and a software that shows the volume bar? More information is needed.

  3. ******** PROBLEM SOLVED **********

Thanks greymalkin for responding. Sorry for not replying sooner.

    Here's my problem...

When I press the up/down audio buttons on my HP keyboard, a visual indicator displays on screen showing the sound level. The volume bars no longer display. No speakers on the monitor.

I went to the HP site and they did have a software/driver update, but it did not work once I turned off and on the PC.

My PC is a HP Media Center m7250n

If I can't find a solution, I'll contact HP this weekend.

    Here's an illustration:
