I just bought a Philips DVP 3010 dvd player and am quite happy with this player as it can read everything though my only problem is that after copying a dvd and play this dvd on this player the pictures hangs up somthimes though when trying the dvd on other players everything works perfectly. I even changed the dvd discs just in case but still the problem was'nt solved.

Some players are more picky about media used than others. Then there is - and + media. You might look up that player in 'DVD Players' to the left and see if there are any recommendations. <<<<<<

Then also it may be the way you copied the files. What program was used and what burning program. Could you explain your copy method and software?

    And welcome to our forums.

I think he is asking if it was a commercial DVD you backed up compared to backing up a home made DVD. Also what program did you use to back up the DVD? Was only Nero? If so, you might get a little better result with another program, maybe DVD Shrink and burn with ImgBurn or DVD Decrypter. If the video is small enough to fit with no shrinking, you can just use DVD Decrypter by itself: ISO read>ISO write. Just about foolproof.

Or it may just be your player doesn't like your brand of disc or your backup method.
