With the costs of laser printers so low, I'm thinking about buying one. However, I am wondering about loading paper. I have pre-made sales receipts tha I use that I just (with my inkjet) load into the tray as I need them. But it looks like all the laser printers have the drawers you put the paper in and then close.

Anyone have an opinion on the "easiest to load" a single sheet laser printer? Or are they all basically the same?

  2. All laser printers have a manual feed tray that can usually hold around 20 sheets. A laser printer is by far the best for your particluar application, will be far more reliable than an inkjet printer and will cost less in consummables over the long term.

  4. Definitely get a laser printer.

I got a used Lexmark from our local university's surplus store - $35. Has USB and network connections, does 17 pages per minute and a new cartridge was $89 with a 15,000 page capacity.

    My inkjet is gathering dust....

Life is like a pothole, you just have to learn to get around it.
