    Hi

I am a newbie so any help is appreciated.

I have 3 different programs that I am using to backup my DVD's. They are: DVD Shrink, 123 Copy DVD and 1Click DVD copy.

Im not sure what has happened but lately when I copy a dvd....it gets all the way thru to 99% and then says it fails. This is happening on 2 programs. 123 says to insert a writeable DVD but it is already there but cant read it is blank.

Also..the copies get "stuck" throughout the movie and you have to fast forward to the next chapter.

Can anyone offer any ideas? or other products that I can purchase that are better than what I have?

    Thanks

I have downloaded all the lastest updates available for any dvd and dvd43 as well as updates for my products. I just purchased DVD cloner 3 and it would not recognise a blank disc. These are older DVD's that I am trying to backup.....I am lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks

    Have you changed media recently.

What brand of media are you using? (media ID most helpful)
What is your make and model of burner?

Some media is just awful on many burners.

I suspect that you are using media that your burner does not like.

I'm assuming that since you are a newbie, your burner is one too.

    Hi

I am using a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-106D and yes...come to think of it...I have changed media lately to a cheap brand. I suppose you get what you pay for. I will try another brand of DVD and see if that makes a difference.

    Thanks
