name is VTS_01_1 and it is saved on Video_TS but when I added Video_TS on WinAVI converter and tried to burn, I got a message “ invalid DVD directory” I don’t know why and hope someone can help me.

    Thanks!

Why I failed to use WinAVi to burn a DVD movie?
    It was not your fault.
WinAVI and several other one-click wonders simply suck.
    You have been warned.

Use FAVC or DVD Flick (free) and Imgburn to burn (free). Much higher quality, much more reliable

Dvd flick is pretty good , I tried yesterday. I used it to convert avi file to DVD format and used WinAVI to burn DVD. The only weakness is the converted file’s size is bigger.
One movie is 4.08 G, so I only can put one movie on one DVD disk.

I will try Imgburn. but I mean the size is already too big after I used DVD flick and before WinAVI.

    Thanks!

IMGBurn is not going to make your size any bigger..just burn to SL disc(DVD-5).....
Did you want two movies on one disc?.....What are you asking or having other issues with?....

Most oneclickwonder apps (Like WinAVI, DVD Flick, convertx2dvd & cetera) try to max out the quality by filling a DVD with whatever you tell it to convert.
So if you tell it to convert a 1 hour video to DVD yoy get a disk full.
If you tell it to convert three 1 hour videos (if that's possible with the software used), you will still get a full disk (but of a lower quality).
