I have always been able to record mpeg videos to cd using nero. Last week I put some video to a dvd, and now nero won't let me record to cd. It seems to be looking for a dvd now and won't take a cd. I can't find anything in the preferences or anywhere else to change it so it will go back to doing cd's. Nero help has been less than helpful...anyone have an idea? Michael

Depends on what version you are using, but usually you would need to change the selector to CD from DVD. In that case the only choices that would show are DVD formats. Just click on the 'DVD' shown when selecting 'new compilation' to the upper left and drag it down and select CD instead. This is for Nero Burning ROM. Other versions may be different.

Yeah, I did that the other day. I thought the program would autodetect the media, but guess it ain't THAT smart.
