Ripping Problem

I have been using dvd decrpyter3.1.7.0 to rip a dvd to my PC. It was having errors etc so I installed
dvd region+css free. This helped alot, however near the end of the Disk it cant copy the last few files. and gives me the I/O error .

The surface of the Disks is fairly ok.

Is it a software issue and that the region+css free that I have cant copy the Files?

Have also tried it just by copy n pasting as the Original disk is Pal Region 2 anyway

Can anyone help?

a. It's an old version of dvd decrypter
b. specifically what error ?
c. dvd decrypter has not been updated in some time, and does not handle the latest protection schemes on it's own. Have you tried DVD Fab Decrypter instead ?
