Can anyone help with this problem...?

I'm ripping my copy of the Sons of Anarchy Season I Disc I and I'm having a problem the files converting to anything else. So when i rip the disc, I get all the VOB files that I would expect. They are all visible. I then add these files to wondershare, but wondershare doesn't see these files the same way. It sees some of them regulary, and others it says that they are super small files. It'll recognize only a couple of the VOB files but not all of them. I use CloneDVD to rip the files. I tried re-ripping the files, ripping only some, but nothing works.

I have a pretty good computer, so I don't think its that.

    Any suggestions.

Based upon what I've seen people write here recently....this wondershare software is complete garbage. I don't know where people are getting that crap from. They must have a serious spamming campaign going on somewhere.

so i see that dvd decrypter as a possible answer (using my FORCE), but CloneDVD is ripping the DVD great (as far as I can tell), is it wondershare...? Im using wondershare to convert the VOB files to .m4v files so it can be added to my Itunes. Any suggestion on what to use...?

DVDDecrypter is old and not updated any longer to accommodate newer copy protections....it is NOT recommended for new releases. DVDFabDecrypter on the other hand is updated often and also has a FREE portion of the program. Your rips may indeed be OK...but in the future keep DVDFabDecrypter in mind.
I've never done an entire DVD to H264 or xvid/divx....just clips. Someone will be along shortly to give a recommendation on a good DVD to "something else" converter.

Your problem is completely software related. Wrong rippers, crappy converter.

I have been trying out Staxrip and Xmedia Recode for this. I like Staxrip because it uses X264 for encoding, however I have had audio sync issues when running batches for every title but the first. This is consistent, repeatable, and not related to the title, but the software. Xmedia Recode uses FFmpeg instead, but it's batch processing seems to work very well, with no problems processing the same titles that Stavrip couldn't (or could, but not in a batch).

Personally, I wouldn't touch Wondershare's converters with a barge pole.

There is a section of each tool's videohelp page(below the change log) called Guides and How to's.
