Dear all,
Recently I installed Premiere Pro 2.0 (tryout version) but it could not burn directly to DVD even I had a DVD writer (or burner in the other word). I removed it then installed Premiere Pro 2.0 (the official version).
I have a HC-46E camcorder, all my recordings are in 16:9, which used to work properly (no distortion) with other editing software like Ulead Video Studio 9.0 or burning with Nero. But this time, for Premiere Pro 2.0 (the official version), I make my project widescreen 48Khz, import the video (widescreen 16:9), it appears nicely on the monitor but after burning directly from Premiere, the DVD video is distorted (more squeezed horizionally) when I turn TV into widescreen mode - this DID NOT happen with the previous timeswhen I used the tryout version (DV avi edited > .avi) and Ulead 9 (avi > .vob) and Nero (for burning). All DVD I made by this method looked fine when TV was set to widescreen, previously.
But at this time, when I turn the TV back to standard aspect (4:3), it looks fine even if the DVD has been made in widescreen as mentioned above.
I really wonder why it happens and how to resolve this. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks a lot
