I was looking at a Samsung DVD VR-320, it said here that it does DIVX, etc. but when I looked up the manual at the Samsung site it said, for the North American version that it specificly did NOT support Divx. (The European Versions do support Divx.) But when looking at the list of Manuals I noticed the Thai version of the 320 does support Divx and Thailand uses NTSC so I was wondering if there is a way to put the Thai firmware on the North American unit so it will display Divx discs, does anyone know if this can be done, has anyone done it, is there an easier wat to restore Divx to the North American Unit? (And why were Samsung such jerks to leave Divx out of the North American versions in the first place?)
