My first attempt using my Camcorders USB port for capturing to Nero. I notice that the "brightness" viewed on Nero as video is being captured is not as "bright" as the attached screen on my camcorder. After captured complete - I replay the newly captured file on my PC and is it noticeably dimmer in brightness. Is this just inherent to capture process I have nothing to judge this by at this point. I also tried a capture to Pinnacle Studio and it was the same way.
Thanks - pmcopoc

You shouldn't be using the USB port for video in the first place, USB on a camcorder is for stills and low resolution webcam type video only. You should be using Firewire (aka i-Link, IEEE 1394) to transfer the video. It will probably still look dark, video usually does when displayed on a computer monitor. It will look OK if burned to DVD and watched on a TV.
