    Hi,
First of all I am an absolute beginner.
I want to convert an AVI file into aDVD file to be watched at my television.
First of all I had problems to get the image size right. I think I found this.
My settings: preset AVI to DVD mpeg2enc, video DVD 16:9, options decode with QT/letterbox.
When I click encode and do a preview, the image seem to be OK... but I don't have AUDIO.
Can someone tell me what to do to to solve this problem?
Thanks a lot for your help.

For help with ffmpegX, there is a separate ffmpegX forum.
To answer your question, the video gets encoded first, then followed by the audio. So, when previewing, only the video may be available at that time. To hear the audio with the video, you'll have to wait until the conversion is finished.

    Thanks for the reply.
When I let encode completely and I let the video_ts play in my DVD player on my computer I still have no audio! So I think when I burn the dvd, it will be without audio, or am I wrong here?
