Codec H.264 problems..plz help

recently i have been getting some codec errors while tryin to play videos fromthis site.

i d/l a couple thigns i thought would help it...
FFdshow and FastVDO
but it didnt do much..the video would come up...with green lines runnin vertically throughout the whole video so u cant really see anything...
and the sound isnt there again

there arent any instructions that i saw how to use it...only for fastvdo i think where u jus play te file....for both it hasnt worked

plz help
