    I encoded an avi into a DVD... and then, before I burned, I went to try the VIDEO_TS folder in DVD Player, and it played for about 5 seconds, and then the video stuttered and then stopped while the Audio played fine.

    Has this happened to anyone/anyone have a solution?

    What happens is has something to do with optional headers in the file that most software DVD players don't like not to see. Or something.

    The solution is to set the setting "Framerate" to "NTSC" instead of "NTSC Film," or use the mpeg2enc DVD setting.

    That should work.

    I have the same problem. mpeg2enc doesn't work either. Is this the same problem people have been reporting since version 0.0.9v? Does anyone have links to version 'u'?
