i have just setup a pc to tv setup and for some reason it the TV cuts off part of the screen, i have tried changing resolutions and it still cuts off, the only resolution the TV can handle is 800*600 and 1024*768 every time i setup my PC monitor to 1024x 758 the TV reflects about an inch of the screen( about 3/4 the start bar onto the right side of the screen, i dont know whats wrong, i really want this to work right. plz help

if this is a standard television (not HDTV) use a resolution of 720 X 480 or 640 X 480. If this is a HDTV u can create custom resolutions using the latest nvidia drivers. visit www.htpcnews.com for more help

this is an HDTV but as i mention the screen is cut off by about an inch in margin.

You said S-Video didn't you? And you are USA.
S-Video is analog interlaced video. Maximum analog resolution is:
H: determined by downscaling in your graphics card. (typ 320-700 "lines of resolution")
V: always 480-486 vertical lines (480x.07=336 lines actual resolution allowing for Kell Factor)
"cut off an inch"
You need to be in fullscreen mode at least for S-Video downscaling to stop windowing your desktop.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
