Have captured a movie on my hauppage 150 card(win 2000/xtra LP) and burnt it directly onto a DVD-R single layer.
I burnt using nero express in UDF mode.
The problem is my Sony dv-380 plays the disc in mpeg 4(divx i guess) format so the audio is out of sync.
I can then play it in my LG dvd and no problems, plays in normal mode, even though it is capable of divx playback.
Any ideas how i can get the sony to play it normally.

    Cheers MFM

The hauppauge 150 captures to mpeg2.

Why not author it as a standard dvd? fix it first with videoredo and then author and burn.

I'm using Ulead Video Studio 3 and it takes a very long time to covert. I thought because its mpeg2 i wouldn't need to re-author, so it saves time which is what I like.

Make sure the project settings have the "Do not convert MPEG compliant video" option checked. And be sure to capture with DVD compliant settings with your PVR-150.

Oh wait, I was thinking of Ulead DVD MovieFactory. Not sure about Video Studio.
