DVD Playback Issue

I composed a slideshow containing 66 .jpg photo files and an .mp3 audio file on Wondershare DVD Builder, & burned on Memorex Lightscribe DVD+R, as well as Sony DVD-R media using Pioneer DVD-RW DL on Toshiba A305-S6843 with Windows Home Premium. It will not playback on the 5 set-top players I tested on. Please help as this is a slideshow of family member for a grieving relative.

Put the disc in the computer drive and look at the file structure. Is there a VIDEO_TS folder? And inside that folder, are there any VOB files? If not, the disc is not DVD compliant.
