I am looking to purchase a good HDTV card for my computer. I found this card and everything about it seems good. My question is can I connect my DirecTv High Def reciever up to this card and actually record HD? It only has a coax and s-video for connections. Can either of these two connections actually transmit an HD signal or will it be downgraded. Or does anyone know of a better card for capturing HDTV?

Hi,
"WinFast DTV1000 T" supports DVB-T.
"WinFast DTV1000 T" does NOT support USA's Digital Cable (QAM) HDTV and Free-To-Air (FTA) ATSC HDTV.
Both the compostite video and S-Video support SD (720x480i or 768x576i) only.
Both the YPbPr and HDMI support HD.
