All I want to do is put some RealPlayer video files onto DVD, but they won't import into iDVD, so I tried to convert them with ffmpegX, but it didn't work (could have been doing something wrong, so if someone has a step-by-step way of doing it...), and I even tried importing them into iMovie to then afterwards put them onto iDVD, but even that didn't work.

I've been looking all over Google, and I searched the forum here, but found nothing, or if I did, it didn't work for me.

Anyone know what to do? I'm freaking out. I downloaded all these .rmvb files so I could merely put them onto DVD and later watch them on a big TV instead of on a computer screen, and now I might have downloaded them all for nothing...

Thanks for any help attempts from anyone.

Unfortunately, you did dowwnload them for nothing.
We just discussed this at least a week or so ago.
Real Media files are good for STREAMING video,
but if you don't plan on watching them on your
computer only, they are practically worthless.

You could try Snapz Pro X to re-capture the files,
you could try piping them through VLC to an AVI
file, but these methods aren't foolproof.

...Ah. Dammit. Well, luckily, after some searching I was able to find the same files somewhere else in different format, which I can put on DVD. Now all I have to do is download them all again...

Well, thanks for the help. Much appreciated.
