  1. I've just tried converting a couple of self-made MOVs to XviD AVIs using 0.0.9u, and in both cases there was no audio on the final AVI - ffmpegX produced two separate files, the AVI video and an MP3, but the MP3 was empty. I had to re-export just the audio from Avid, convert it to MP3 and then mux it with the video using ffmpeg tools.

Is there any reason for this? The MOVs played fine (with audio), and when I dropped them into ffmpegX it recognised the audio tracks.

  2. Posting the process output (blue "i" icon in the Progress window) could be of help in order to answer your question.

  3. Hi AVR2, I confirm what you're experiencing.

Converting from MOV to Xvid gives a movie with no audio.

Look at first tab, in the Audio window, in my case ffmpegX doesn't seems to recognize properly the Audio Track: vdva / 0x61766476, 48000 Hz, stereo (but It's a simple movie in DV Pal standard...)
