Hello,

I have a VOB file and I would like to convert this to AVI (in order to upload it to Premiere).

I used WIN AVI Video Converter tool with no success: The AVI opens the WINAMP but nothing happend.

well, I tried different Encoder: DIVX, DV, XVID but nothing happend.

Finally, I updated my DIVX and XVID Codecs. After converting, I could hear the audio but coudn't see anything.

    What is the problem?

    Here is the GSPOT .

VirtualDub Mod can accept VOBs directly, then encode to DV. You need the Panasonic DV codec or similar to encode with. Xvid or Divx are not good choices if you want to edit. And you may need the AC3 ACM Decompressor to read the audio, if it's AC3. You would also need to have a MPEG-2 codec installed for most programs to see a MPEG-2 video.

WinAVI is not that good of choice for what you want to do, IMO.

    And your screenshot is broken.
