JVC drm100s. Is it good with Comcast motorola DVR's???????

Ok i think im getting this recorder and was wondering if anybody has experience with this recorder and its ability to record cable shows off comcasts motorola dvr dct6214 box????
Any help on if this recorder is picky or good with comcast dvr's would be appreciated.
I specifically want to record off the "NFL channel" so that would be even better is someone has tried off this channel but if not, just post your experience with other chanels.

p.s. I want to know the RECORDERS ability to record off these channels, not the recorder plus "a copy protection breaker like TBC" or whatever they are called.

And does anybody know how i can find what type of copy protection NFL channel uses on their shows. i know how to look for 5c copy protection by going into the menu screen(by the way, NFL channel has 5c) but i dont know how to lok for other copy protection

I know two people with JVC and Comcast PVR. Not sure on model though. They both use it for pay channels, that I know.

wel i just read this in the dr-m100s manual and the dr-m10s manual :

It is impossible to record onto DVD-R/RW (Video mode) discs
broadcasts that allow you to copy once. The copy once
programs can only be recorded onto DVD-RW discs formatted
in VR mode.

so it looks like im out of luck.

You are paranoid.

CPRM is not even in effect yet. No machine will record it when (if) it does go into effect. You are fucked regardless of what you buy. The end.
