Hi all... I hooked up a dvd recorder to my surround system but I have no playback sound. I'm stumped! I can put a DVD movie in the recorder and it will playback sound but when I playback something I recorded, I can't get the Audio. I"m no guru so could someone give me some ideas of what my problem might be? I have digital cable going into to the HD DVR cable box (Motorola 6412) then out to the recorder ....then from the recorder to my AV reciever. My video is on video 1 and so I connected the red/white audio cable from the recorder to video 1 on the AV reciever also. I would really appreciate some imput PLEASE!!!

You know you might need to go into some sub menu for audio options. I seem to remember some dvd players that needed to enable digital output before the signal would be outputed.

Is there a similar submenu for outputing your recorded audio maybe??
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
