  1. I did a search on converting .ts files and got nothing (had to use google)...

What I did end up finding was HDTVtoMPEG2_v1.11.87 (already had tried it, and it crashes), I even tried projectX, but it gave me some gibberish error...

I also tried Dr.Divx, but it just get under 1 minute of audio...

If my player can display the dang pixels, it should be possible to save them in codec’s you have on your computer... Computer (especially software) are so primitive, there going to laugh at us in 50-100 years from now

Anyway... Any other programs I can try?

In the HOW TO - CONVERT section, look under vob instead of .ts

Virtualdub can read these and convert to avi , or frameserve to bbmpeg and encode to mpeg2 , mpeg1 at various video size's .

Vobedit , to demux to seperate stream's , and via cell id if required to break it up for re-editing later .

And at no cost either ...

  6. yeah it was HDTV ts files... This tread is old though... I tried more apps after I posted this, and they also did not work...

The one I did not expect to work after VirtualDub did not work ended up (one which I already had on my comp) working... VirtualDubMod_1_5_10_2
