Hi,
My HDTV tuner saves recorded videos as muxed MPEG2, which I can play back in Quicktime Pro (because I bought the MPEG2 component), but I can't export to anything useful.
If I try to convert to MPEG4 the audio dissapears (same with if i export to iPod), and it want even let me try to convert it to H264.
Is there something I need to do to the MPEG2 first before I can encode it into H264 etc.
Thanks

quicktime pro may not support the ac3 audio.
you can try hdtvtompeg2 and then use other h264/x264 converters like 3gp converter, super.
