Hi,
I will try to answer the question. They have programs out there that will put talking into typing. windows xp had one that would put voice into typing. there is one called drangon that will also and some other ones. Software that will put voice into typing though are not very good and usually mess up a lot. People are working on makeing this software better though.
I would also like to know the answer to that question. Is there a better easier way that will work better and not waiting for the software to get better? Please and thank you. -
I suppose this reply is a bit late, but as i thought i could give you some help regarding this matter i decided to write anyway... well, you asked if there is any site where you could see a written conversation of a tv episode and the answer is yes, there are many actually. just type the words "movie scripts" "tv scripts" in yahoo or something like it and a large list will appear. As an example i give you: www.simplyscripts.com; www.script-o-rama.com/table.shtml
I hope this is somehow helpful for you.lali -

Creating subtitle form scratch is really a hard job and takes a lot of work to be done, because, first you must have the scripts of a certain conversation, you must also arrange the said scripts in a way that doesn't
out of viewable page likewise you must arrange it with 2 clomuns or one in each dialogues, and then, you must synchronize with the audio of that conversation.. these things are really really have to give a lot of time.....
some people saying that nowadays, there were software capable of puting words into text like dragon naturally speaking, IBM viavoice, and other voice recognition software, but this method does not gives you perfect translation, and it tooks a time to train the said software inorder to gives you best text translation from voice, you can try it anyway, In the timing I think subtitle workshop is the best and it has also an option to break words into 2 columns, and also give you the best possible way in how many characters should be put in the viewable page....... -
Simple with visualsubsync ...
